Old Brick Presbyterian Church’s minister is the Reverend Carl Malm. He has provided sermons with inspiring messages to the church’s congregation for over ten years. The sermons reflect real-life experiences and how they relate to the Lord’s Word in a positive light. Many today want preaching and teaching that makes the Bible a living Word from God that speaks to today’s anxieties and challenges.

Reverend Malm also has a Huntsville-based ministry, the Center for Loss, Grief, and Change which offers grief consultations and educational programs about grief and spiritual care. Reverend Malm feels his special calling is to help those hurting from unwanted change and to relate Biblical spirituality to them.  Reverend Malm leads an adult Bible Study at the Old Brick Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall on Sunday mornings prior to Sunday Services. He has over twenty-five years of experience as a hospice and healthcare chaplain and twenty-nine years of experience teaching history at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Reverend Malm also has a keen interest in providing needed spiritual vigor and hope to individuals and their families that suffer from addictions.
